Katrina Law joins NCIS as Jessica Knight for season 18

Just over a year after the memorable ending of Hawaii Five-O, actress Katrina Law is set to become a member of the NCIS series for a permanent role.

It comes after joining the series as a recurring character, Special Agent Jessica Knight, in season eighteen. However, the show’s producers have yet to announce her contract’s renewal as a permanent cast as it depends solely on NCIS season nineteen.

Katrina Law presents Jessica Knight, a special agent for the NCIS REACT unit, known for her specialty in negotiating hostage safety in hostage situations, during the last eight episodes.

Jessica Knight comes from a background where a single mother raises her, which shaped her strong personality, and is married to the husband, who works from home and parents the child. Jessica’s personality is described as a tough woman with a sense of humor, athletic, strong but sharp intelligence. She is considered determined to achieve her goals regardless of cost, which makes her good at her job.

Law joined NCIS immediately after actress Maria Bello left the series, when her character for three years, legal psychologist Jack Sloane, was written off the series after a March 2 episode.
Katrina Law joined the NCIS cast in the eighteenth season after starring in various roles in other TV series that are well known. She played Karen Beach’s role in The Oath, a recurring role in the series Training Day by CBS, and Nisa Al Ghul’s character in the series Arrow by the CW.

Her recent work was in Hawaii Five-O, where she played the role of Quinn Lew. She also played Meera in two episodes of the epic Roman series by Starz, Spartacus. So she knows her way into the world of TV series.

NCIS is a CBS television series created by producer Donald Bellisario and produced jointly by his company, Belisarius Productions, and CBS Studios.

New episodes of the eighteenth season of NCIS will broadcast on CBS television on Tuesday. Fans will recall that NCIS: New Orleans, the franchise’s successful spinoff, will end after this seventh season. However, the aerial version of NCIS is in an early stage of development.
