Amber Heard was Observed Shopping at TJ Maxx after an imminent $8.3 Million Judgment.
After the Johnny Depp trial, Amber Heard is confronted with a harsh and costly reality: she could be on the hook for millions… so it’s no surprise that she’s bargain hunting. News media TMZ obtained a video of AH shopping at a TJ Maxx in Bridgehampton, New York on Thursday; she was accompanied by her sister, Whitney Henriquez, who testified on her behalf and has been tagging along recently.
Amber and Whitney were reportedly perusing clothing racks when they were overheard discussing white linen pants. It appears that the sisters’ basket was full of potential purchases. As you can see, however, Amber fled when she noticed the cameras rolling. No word on what, if anything, they left the store with, but it’s interesting to find Amber here in the aftermath of all this, especially given their financial situation.
Amber’s attorneys have stated publicly that she cannot pay the $8.3 million in damages awarded to Johnny by the jury… and it remains to be seen whether Depp and company will actually enforce it. His legal counsel has indicated they may not.
Still, JD is likely displeased by Amber’s recent press appearances and attempts to present evidence she claims proves her case, not to mention her repeated threats to appeal. Time will tell if he simply pulls the trigger and holds her accountable for his decision.
In any case, Amber’s situation is precarious; not only could she be forced to pay this money she lacks, but she also risks losing a significant amount of work in the future.
She has not been booked very frequently as of late. While Amber has implied that this is because she now has a daughter, it is also possible/likely that no acting jobs are calling her phone. She has already been compensated for ‘Aquaman 2,’ which was only a couple of million dollars. Therefore, when times are tough, visit TJ Maxx. There’s no shame in that, right?
