Actor Armie Hammer was accused on thursday with “violently” raping his ex-girlfriend, who he claims of him abusing her mentally,sexually and physically during their 4 year long relationship.
The women who revealed her first name as Effie , sobbed as she spoke, said she feared her life during her time with Hammer, whom other women have accused of having cannibalistic fantasies.
“He became more and more violent,I thought he was going to kill me”, Effie said.Effie, who spoke with attorney Gloria Allred on Thursday, said the alleged abuse of the “Social Network” star turned into rape on April 24, 2017, when she was 20 years old.
The now 24-year-old said that Hammer “repeatedly slammed” her “face against the wall” and left her bruised during the attack.Due to the continious abuse from an actor, aged 34, whom she met on Facebook in 2016, led her to consider suicide , she said on her statement.
“I lost interest in living,” she shared. “I just wanted the pain to stop.”
When asked if Effie was behind the “House of Effie” instagram account, which first leaked DMs that were supposedly from Hammer and described rape and cannibalism fantasies, Allred said she “had no comment.” on whether her client is behind that account or not.
Hammer’s attorney denied all of Effie’s claims in a statement saying
“[Effie’s] own correspondence with Mr. Hammer undermines and refutes her outrageous allegations. As recently as July 18, 2020, [Effie] sent graphic texts to Mr. Hammer telling him what she wanted him to do to her,” she reads her in the statement. “Sir. Hammer responded by clarifying that he did not want to have that kind of relationship with her.
“It was never the intention of Mr. Hammer to embarrass or expose [Effie’s] perverse sexual fetishes or desires, but now he has taken this matter to another level by hiring a civil attorney to give a public press conference,” continued the release. With the truth in his favor, Mr. Hammer appreciated the opportunity to set the record straight.
“From day one, Mr. Hammer has ensured that all of his interactions with [Effie] – and every other sexual partner for that matter – have been fully agreed upon, discussed and agreed upon in advance, and mutually Participation. The advice and nonsensical legal bid of [Ify’s] attention would only make it more difficult for real victims of sexual violence to get justice. ”
In response to Hammer’s attorney’s statement allred responded saying “I challenge Armie Hammer to present all, not some, of her communications with Effie to the Los Angeles Police Department and answer all of their questions directly rather than through his lawyers”
Effie is the latest prosecutor to speak out against the 34-year-old “social media” actor. Hammer’s ex, Courtney Vuskovic, previously told to the media that he wanted to “grill and eat” and also alleged that he was emotionally violent.
