The response from the audience to The 100 was overwhelmingly positive, and the show has since become one of The CW’s most popular offerings. The article contains all information regarding the 100 seasons.

The seventh season of The 100 marked the series’ conclusion. On the other hand, given the show’s positive reception among viewers, it is possible that the producers of The 100 will decide to continue the series in a different format for the eighth season.

The 100 contains action, drama, science fiction, dystopia, and post-apocalyptic elements. If you want to know everything about the upcoming eighth season of The 100, you should read the entire article.

Season 8 of The 100 is one of Netflix’s most popular post-apocalyptic science fiction dramas. After the conclusion of Season 7 of The 100, fans are curious about the upcoming season. Season 7 of The 100 premiered on May 20, 2020, with sixteen episodes. In August 2019, it was announced that the seventh season would be the final season, bringing the total number of episodes to 100.

However, rumors suggested that The 100 will return for its eighth season. They also assert, without official confirmation, that The 100 Season 8 will return with new cast members.

There has been no such discussion regarding the eighth season of The 100. The series will not be renewed for an eighth season, as it was previously stated that The 100 Season 7 would be its last.

The showrunner, Jason Rothenberg, stated, “I just didn’t want to listen to him for a while — that he wanted to end it after the seventh season.”

After the news broke in August, CW President Mark Pedowitz addressed the 2019 Television Critics Association summer press tour, per TV Guide. “We engaged in an extensive discussion concerning this topic. Jason has additional plans he wishes to implement, and he believed this was the best course of action.”

Now the good news is that instead of The 100 Season 8, the creators are planning a prequel spinoff. According to TV Line, Callie, the daughter of Shepherd Bill, may lead the series. The 100’s spinoff will reportedly be titled The 100: Second Dawn and will take place just two years after the apocalypse.

Jason Rothenberg, according to TV Line, “The series will be significantly more grounded in reality. I’d like to do Lost-style flashback episodes to pre-apocalyptic times with these characters, as they will have opinions on the problems that plagued our world. I want to be able to film in restaurants, bars, and homes, and not always in the middle of the woods.”

Season 8 of The 100 is impossible, and there is currently no official confirmation of a spinoff titled The 100. Stay tuned to Devdiscourse for the most recent television series updates.
