The first season of the new vampire series First Kill is now available to stream on Netflix.
The show is based on a short story written by New York Times best-selling author Victoria “V. E.” Schwab, who also created the series and serves as an executive producer on the show. Emma Roberts is one of the show’s producers.
A brief summary is as follows: Juliette, a young vampire, has her sights set on Calliope, a newcomer to the community, when it comes time for her to make her first kill and earn her place in a powerful vampire family. Juliette has her sights set on killing Calliope. But Calliope is a vampire hunter, and she comes from a family of renowned slayers, which comes as quite a shock to Juliette. Both parties discover that the other won’t be as simple to kill as they had anticipated and, unfortunately, that they are way too easy to fall for…
For the premiere of “First Kill,” Emma Roberts dressed gorgeously vampiric.
Roberts posted an Instagram photo of herself in a black dress from The Vampire’s Wife in order to attend the premiere remotely. Designed by Susie Cave, the midi-length dress was fashioned from flowery lace with a high neckline. Elbow-length sleeves with ruffled cuffs and pointed shoulders, as well as a ruffled hemline, gave the garment a gothic edge.

The vampire-like appearance of Roberts was completed with a red lip and a black silk top-handle bag by Hai.
Andrea Wazen heels gave the “Little Italy” actress’ outfit a party-appropriate twist. The $685 Kay style purchased by Roberts featured black pointed-toe soles with 4.72-inch stiletto heels. Clear PVC peep-toe straps, as well as slingback straps and toe bows lined with Swarovski crystals, gave the pair of shoes worn by the celebrity a modern edge. The footwear used by Ms. Roberts complimented the elegance of her ensemble while ensuring it remained on-theme as a contemporary twist on romantic style.
Roberts’ shoe selection frequently varies between bohemian, modern, and edgy styles. Prioritizing comfort, the “Unfabulous” actress’s off-duty footwear ranges from Ferragamo platform sandals to Ugg boots. However, she routinely recycles pairs such as Valentino and Alexander McQueen Chelsea boots, Frankie4 sandals, and Gucci mules. She frequently wears neutral or decorated pumps, strappy sandals, and boots by Christian Louboutin, Prada, and Chloe Gosselin on the red carpet.
Roberts has also been an ambassador for Tous, Finishing Touch, and Neutrogena, a campaign star for Hugo Boss, Bergdorf Goodman, Levi’s, and Fred, and a collaborator with BaubleBar on a jewelry collection. She is also a fashion icon, often attending the Met Gala and gracing the front rows of Louis Vuitton, Coach, Kate Spade New York, Lanvin, and Chloé fashion shows throughout Fashion Week.
